Impedance

Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a very powerful diagnostic technique for in-situ study of SOC technology. This experimental technique investigates the electrochemical system by measuring the complex impedance response as a function of frequency.

The interpretation of the measured data is done by fitting it to an appropriate equivalent circuit model. From the best fit relevant parameters of the electrochemical system can then be obtained.
